On September 18, the "Mid-Autumn in Poetry" event was held in the old town square of Bern, Switzerland. Under the guidance of the Chinese Embassy in Switzerland and organized by the China Cultural Center in Bern, the event invites local Swiss residents to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival. Ambassador Qian Minjian and his wife were present, with Qian warmly encouraging more international friends to explore and engage with Chinese culture.

The event opened with a stunning Chinese martial arts show, followed by a series of captivating performances including Xinjiang dance, guqin music, waist drumming, and choral renditions of "Remember for Long" and "My Motherland." A Chinese culture experience zone was set up on-site, where international guests enthusiastically tried calligraphy, New Year picture rubbing, and handmade rabbit lantern crafting. The Hanfu experience area drew large crowds, who immersed themselves in the beauty of Chinese clothing and the elegant charm of traditional Chinese style by eagerly trying on hairpins and floral headpieces, changing into traditional attire, and posing for photos against the backdrop of the old town's architecture.

Amid a joyful and harmonious atmosphere, Chinese and foreign guests shared the sight of the full moon. This event has infused warm momentum into cultural exchanges and mutual learning between China and Switzerland.
