On 16 December, Ambassador Qian Minjian of the Chinese Embassy in Switzerland met with Mr. Leonz Eder, President of the International University Sports Federation(FISU).

Ambassador Qian highly commended FISU for its longstanding commitment to cooperation with China and the successful co-hosting of the Chengdu 2023 Summer World University Games and the Dalian 2025 FISU University World Cup Football. He extended best wishes for the preparation of the Changchun 2027 Winter Universiade. Ambassador Qian expressed the embassy's willingness to continued supporting FISU's cooperation with China in areas such as event hosting and youth exchanges etc., jointly put the “Global Civilization Initiative” into practice.

Mr. Eder stated that FISU regards China as an important partner and will further deepen cooperation with China in the future, working together to elevate international university sports to a new height.
