On March 11, Ambassador Qian Minjian attended the opening ceremony of the 51st International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva and visited Chinese exhibition booths, where he interacted with participating teams and young innovators.

This year’s exhibition features more than 1000 inventions from 40 countries and regions. The Chinese delegation presented 237 invention projects, while the Hong Kong SAR delegation brought nearly 280 projects, marking the largest participation ever. The inventions mainly focus on environmental protection, renewable energy, electronics, medicine, construction, and transportation.

After on-site evaluation by the jury, the Chinese delegation won 90 gold medals, 95 silver medals, and 52 bronze medals. The Hong Kong delegation also received nearly 300 awards, with tropical marine fish aquaculture industry chain solution winning the Grand Prix of the exhibition.
