In order to provide better consular Legalization application services, starting from May 17, 2021, the consular legalization applications should be submitted to the Chinese Visa Application Service Center in Bern (CVASC). Chinese applicants can also submit their Legalization applications to the Chinese Embassy in Switzerland after making an appointment.
The CVASC will be only responsible for services including answering inquiries, receiving applications, returning documents and collecting charges for legalization on behalf of the Chinese Embassy in Switzerland. The Chinese Embassy in Switzerland will be in full charge of the processing and approval of the relevant applications.
